Appalachian Baby Kit: Highland Blanket

This blanket uses the famous Shetland lace stitch pattern known as "Old Shale", a beautifully graceful knit design.

The colorways feature our new Maple yarn color, with Silver and Natural U.S. Organic Cotton; and our new Sherbert yarn color, mixed with Doe and Natural U.S. Organic Cotton.

The finished blanket measures 30 1/2" x 30 1/2" (77 1/2 x 77 1/2 cm). The kit comes with two balls of each color, for a total of six balls. Each ball of U.S. Organic Cotton is 3 oz.: 194yd/177m.

The Old Shale stitch is in multiple of 18 stitches and four rows.

Size US 7 (4.5mm) 32-40" (80-100cm) circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge.
